Details for RRC 2009

The Random Reading Challenge for 2009 is a way for us to have fun with reading.  Each month there will be random mini-challenges posted and our goal is to read books that fit the challenges.  Hopefully, by doing so we will step outside our comfort zones, discover new books and/or authors, or make some dents in our TBR stacks.

Here are the Rules/Details for the Random Reading Challenge for 2009:

 

1. Pick 5 books that fit the 5 mini-challenges for the month.

2. Read the 5 books during that month.

3. Either come back at the end of the month as we discuss our books and the challenge or post your thoughts on your own blog.  If you do this, be sure to send me a link so I can share it with my blog readers.

 

The book can be in any genre or any format unless the mini-challenge states otherwise.  You don’t have to read 5 books, you can pick any or all categories and choose some books to read.

I know some of the genres mentioned in the challenges might be outside your comfort zone, but I encourage you to try them…or don’t.  It’s really all up to you how you do the challenge.  But if you need some suggestions for a book, let me know and I’ll be sure to pass some along.
