For Authors
Hello!
If you are an author I just want to thank you for all that you do. Because of you and others that write, readers like me can find hours of enjoyment in books. Thanks to authors I can live vicariously through the characters in a book. Through reading, I can visit far off places and time periods gone by or read about relationships in today’s world. I can watch others fall in love and find their happily every afters.
I cannot begin to tell you how many times a book has helped me through a rough patch in my life. Reading allows me to forget my worries for a little while and believe in possibilities. Books are an important part of my life and cannot imagine life without them.
So if you are an author, THANK YOU! And if you are an aspiring author, don’t ever give up…you never know…there’s a reader out there just waiting for your story to touch his or her life!

I have to tell you, I loved your comment about aspiring authors not giving up. I’ve been writing some 20 years, so selling LA VIDA VAMPIRE was an extra high moment. Also like you, books have seen me through bad and sad times, have touched my heart and changed my life. So, though I write, I also continue to adore reading — and always will!!

You have a great blog spot, and don’t worry about rambling. I do it all the time until I see people’s eyes glaze over then start stuttering. *sigh*
The site is beautiful and you’ve done a marvelous job. Have you thought of going into doing reviews to post on Amazon? Bet you’d be popular!

What a great post, Jennifer! One to read all those times I get stuck in those writing slumps where I am convinced each word is pure drivel and bound for the deletion key. And of course I must say a huge thanks to the readers, who allow me to live this dream, no matter how warped it (and admittedly my mind) may get at times!
