Question of the Week

Thursday, March 27, 2008

Okay so I know this isn’t the scheduled day for the “Question of the Week,” but I didn’t have time to write up a blog post.

 So today’s questions are:

What is your favorite TV show?
What is your favorite TV show to watch in reruns?
And because I wanted to make it book-related….any book or series that you think would be a good a tv series?

  1. Okay, not a fair question! I am a TV junkie! I watch Lost, Gray’s Anatomy,Two and a Half Men, House, American Idol, Survivor, ER, and I’m now into New Amsterdam and can’t wait for Hell’s Kitchen.
As for reruns, I Love Lucy never gets old. She always cracks me up.

Okay, now for book series…hmmm….The Wallflower Series by Lisa Kleypas or the Outlander novels by Diana Gabaldon! Oooh..Abarat by Clive Barker!

  2. What is your favorite TV show? Ah, well, here. . . I watch so very few shows besides CNN during the course of a day. LOL The only two shows that still show new episodes that I watch is Guiding Light, Smallville. . . oh yeah, and The Universe on the History Channel. Think that’s it. . . then there’s plenty of CNN. And the Weather Channel. :)

What is your favorite TV show to watch in reruns? I Love Lucy here too!!! :) Star Trek, X-Files

And because I wanted to make it book-related….any book or series that you think would be a good a tv series? Uh. . . I have no clue, no how. LOL

  3. Hmmm… not watching a whole lot of TV these days… We’ve liked Chuck, and are waiting for Battlestar Galactica to resume.

I still love watching Friends in reruns…

And I’m not sure about a book series that would make a good transition to TV… clearly my mind doesn’t work that way!

  4. Jennifer. I’d like to interview you. Can you contact me off loop?

  5. I am not a big TV watcher but here are a few House Law and Order all of them CSI all of them Australian Idol.
Reruns any of The Lucy shows as well and Friends Hogans Heros a lot of the older shows
Books that could be made into a TV series not sure about that one I think Nalani Singhs’s series would be very good.

    Have Fun

  6. Favorite TV show right now is Idol, but waiting for the new House, and Bones to start. Also like Grey’s Anatomy. Brownone and I watch a lot of the same shows.

As far as reruns, I love lucy and I ever like Andy Griffit.

Books to TV I am not sure about.

  7. My newest show I like now, is Eli Stone. I also like Pushing Daisies, and Carpoolers, and Notes from the Underbelly. (I’ve started liking the 30 minute shows because they’re light, easy, and good for time.)
I feel betrayed by Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives. I just don’t like them anymore. I’d watch Grey’s and yell at the tv and wondering why on earth I was watching it. :-(
I also really like “My Boys” on TBS. All the episodes are online on TBS, and the very last one is SUCH A CLIFF HANGER. Fabulous.
As to what books would make great shows… ack - too many to think of.

  8. My shows that I can not miss are CSI, Criminal Minds, NCIS, and The Unit.
Shows that I could watch over in reruns are Buffy, The Vampire Slayer and Angel, Silk Stalkings, and the Highlander.
I think Sydney Croft - Storm books would make a great shows. Lauren Dane’s Cascadia Wolves as well.

  9. The shows I will not miss are Bones, Medium and House.

Shows that I could watch forever and ever are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and X-Files.

I think Jennifer Armintrout’s vampire series would make a brilliant series.
